Earth Day - Happy Earth Day! I love doing activities and celebrating this day! Too bad, I had to test all day. Oh well, I got to wear my cute Lorax earrings, and my students got to eat dirt and worms (crushed Oreos and gummy worms).

Panera - I was super excited to check my Panera rewards to find that I can get a free bagel each day for the rest of the month! If you have a Panera card, check to see if you are a lucky recipient as well!
Dinner of champions!

Educents - I have been downloading files nonstop this week. There were so many cute activities that I couldn't pass up. If you haven't been on Educents yet, I highly recommend it. It's like Groupon for teachers. There are many free downloads available as well. Please use my referral link by clicking here if you would like to try it out.

Testing - I feel like testing will never end! I finished PARCC testing my class last week (7 days). This week I started testing a fourth grade class on PARCC (3 down and 4 next week). We also started district testing. My class had 2 days this week and 2 days next week. The following week I get to test the fourth grade class on their district testing (4 more days)! I am tired just typing all that out.
Misery for me equals a freebie for you. Click here for a testing freebie - Student Testing Brag Bracelets. TPT is being fussy right now and not letting me show the images. I will try to change it later.
Have a great weekend!
I love the Lorax earrings– did you make them from shrinky-dinks? And we ate dirt and worms, too, after we pushed seeds into the dirt... the salty nuts, seeds, etc, were really good with the sweet cookie crumbs. See you around. Kathleen Kidpeople Classroom
ReplyDeleteThank you! I didn't make the earrings. They were purchased from Etsy. It's my addiction. I think they are shrinky-dinks though. I love the idea of putting the "seeds" into the "dirt." I will have to do that next year. Thanks for sharing!
DeleteI love the music fluency! The kids love music that's for sure, it just makes for a better day. Paula
DeleteThanks so much!
DeleteIs the testing ever going to end? We're done but we've been kicked out of our room 4 times so other classes can use our computers...I just want my normal routine back!
ReplyDeleteLosing your routine is the worst part of testing! It's hard to keep the kids focused! Hopefully things can get back to normal soon!
