Happy Early Valentine's Day

I love holidays!  There's something magical about them - even Hallmark holidays.  It's a time to bring in fun activities into your classroom.  One of my favorite Valentine's Day activities is an author's purpose review.  For this activity, I make my students treat bags with a pencil, eraser, and box of candy hearts.  My students get their Valentine from me along with an assignment.  A little work never killed anyone!
