I am going to have students cut out food from the grocery ads I have collected They are going to glue these to a paper plate. I figured this will be a two part activity.
Math - For math, they will add up all the cost of the items. I may complicate this for my high group by giving them a budget that they need to remain under.
Writing - This will also be a writing activity by writing about their meal. This can even be an author's purpose activity. Persuade - Why should people eat the foods they picked? Inform - Give information about the food that has been picked. Entertain - Students can write a story about the feast itself.
Pictures will come when I finalize the activity.
