I liked this idea I saw on Pinterest. You take cups and tape places where students may get pulled or go to during the day. For example, I made cups for speech, bathroom, social worker, nurse, etc. The students take a cup and put it on their desk when they are leaving the room. This makes it easy to see who is gone and where they went. I like this because my students are pulled from class quite a bit. This way I don't have to think about where they are.
* Organization tip - The cups are Solo cups. You can use different colored cups to differentiate places students can be or just label them like me. These cups also fit nicely in an over-the-door shoe rack.
