I write down homework on an assignment chart everyday. The problem was that students need a visual on what the assignment is. Now, underneath the assignment chart, I put a magnetic board. I put any extra copies of the assignment as well as any workbooks. There is no longer any excuse as to why the students do not know what the homework is (and they also know where to find extra copies when they lose their work)!
