Some students have a lot of trouble tracking their reading. They miss lines in some passages. One way I combat this is by giving students a tracker. Instead of buying expensive ones, I make my own. They involve index cards that I color with a yellow highlighter on top. It's an inexpensive way to help them get back on track.
