End of Year Clean-up

The bad part of the end of the year is cleaning out the classroom.  Last year, I waited to take everything down.  The last week of school was a whirlwind of activity.  I only did this because my students had no concept of time.  They had no clue there was only one week left.  I needed to keep everything as normal as possible.  This year, I plan on doing a little each day.  I can't keep the last day from the them (they can read a calendar)!  At least this is a much more manageable process.  My goal this week is to take down at least 2 posters a day and to pack up a set of books each day.  This way, next week I can put away the big items.  A little each day is very doable.  Now if only I can keep up with this!
