Space is at a premium in my classroom. Therefore, with posters, I really need to think about what I am permanently putting on the wall. There are also some things that I only want to put up on a temporary basis, like during a particular lesson. I also like to create posters with my students, so it sticks with them. Because of this, I am grateful for a conference I attended a couple of years ago.
Simple solution - Use hangers to hang posters. Brilliant solution to my problems. I have a huge pile of hangers. I hang posters on the chalkboard when I am making the posters and have been able to hang posters in areas that I couldn't before.
