My mom told me that a colleague of hers would tell the students, "Kiss your brain" when they got an eady correct.
I decided to use this line with my students. I filled a container with Hershey Kisses. When a student participates more than others or just gives a brilliant answer, I use the phrase and give them a piece of candy. This is great motivation for class participation!
