My sister and I went apple picking over the weekend. With apples in season, I just wanted to recap the apple lesson I posted in the spring. This is the perfect time of year for it.
Basically, you cut an apple in half. One half goes into a clear jar untouched. Pass the other half around the classroom and let everyone touch it. Make predictions on what will happen. Compare the results in a day, two days, etc.
This is a great way to teach the importance of washing hands!
