Teacher Make and Take

Today my teacher friends are coming by for our second make and take over summer.  We decided the professional development given offered by our district was not the sort of development that would actually help us in our classrooms.  Therefore, we decided to have our own get together.  Our first session, we worked on reading.  Admittedly, we did a lot of talking.  However, we did exchange ideas.  This motivated me to continue making things for my class.  Today, we decided to start a couple of hours earlier than our reading start.  Our focus will be on math.  I am excited and have lots of projects ready to go!
