Checkerboards:
I tried the checkerboards today with my summer school class. I can't get over how well it worked! They loved it and were very focused. I explained the directions, and they did a great job reviewing their multiplication facts.
Beach Ball:
I used the beach ball I created on the last day of school. It started some great conversations with the students. I definitely want to make more. I think I may make one for the first week of school.
