Another Way to Deal with Students Needing Attention

There are lots of ways to deal with students that need attention.  One way is to set a timer (start small 2-5 minutes and build up).  When it goes off, if the student has followed the rules you have set (like working independently), the student can earn a star.  If they earn enough stars in a day, they can get a prize.  This can be a little toy, extra computer time, etc.
